For example, he can jump walls, he can swing on poles and do many different stunts that weren’t available to him before.

You’re Going Down, Fury!

With this version of LEGO CITY Undercover, you will be given assignments that you must master. The classic humor you expect with LEGO is still there as well. Your assignment, if you choose to accept it, will be to sort through the bad guys and grab a hold of Rex Fury before he gets away. Meanwhile, he is going to continue his reign of crime because he doesn’t realize that McCain is coming after him.There is an option for two-players so everyone can take turns being a part of the LEGO CITY. Your mission will be to investigate different districts throughout the game, each district containing its own mayhem and bad guys. You will play a part in apprehending car thieves, navigating vehicles throughout the city, even capture aliens who managed to escape. Be sure to pick up your collectibles along the way.

Collectibles

Collectibles will help you advance in the game. Collect red bricks, 290 people, 110 vehicles, 5 blocks, and gold bricks. There are 290 character tokens are hiding throughout the city. If you can find them, it will issue you a new disguise to add to your collection.

Challenges

Along the way, you are going to be faced with challenges such as catching aliens, smashing ATM machines, arrest gangs, activate the disguise booth, and steal vehicles. These challenges are spaced throughout the scene so you don’t know where they are, you can’t guess ahead and know. You must try something to see if it works; if it unlocks or opens and closes. This keeps the game interesting at all levels.

Design your own LEGO CITY

The city hasn’t changed a lot, you can make it look any way you want to. The more you do to customize your LEGO CITY, the higher chance you have of uncovering clues that will lead you to Fury. There are areas throughout the town that are blocked off and the only way you can gain entrance is to play through the main city to unlock the different areas. You will then need to go back and collect or enter what was restricted when you went through.

Not a Bad Game to Play for Any Age

I was impressed with the “feel” of the city; it was different. When playing the game, I could see why it would be great for a younger audience who wants a game that allows them to use their imagination. I was able to just play around and destroy things, steal cars and drive under bridges, and run onto the sidewalk.

Lego City Undercover has similar effects compared to The Legend of Spyro Dawn of the Dragon. This is the third series of Spyro and the game is built based on the same storyline but with new play options. Building on the original storyline is not only a great way to connect to the game, it leaves you anticipating the next version coming out.

I had fun playing LEGO CITY Undercover. It is a game that you can spend a lot of time on and there is so many little things to the game that makes is more personal. You can’t go wrong when trying to capture the bad guys and if you don’t succeed the first time, try again. If only the real world could be this organized. If you like LEGO’s and you want to find some bad guys before the day ends, this is the game you want to turn your PC on to.
